Co-Founder Alexis Woods is a Landscape Architect, and manages the farming and grape-growing operations of over 100 acres of Woods Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Zinfandel and Merlot in the Dry Creek Valley. The Woods Vineyards were the source of the original Clos du Bois wines and today still provide numerous Napa & Sonoma County wineries (Duckhorn, Ferrari-Carano, Rodney Strong, Jackson Family) with wine grapes.
Daniel Donahoe’s mentor in the wine business was Julia Child, who, among other things, taught him the importance of balanced wines. He has worked in all aspects of the wine business, from his first crush at Cakebread Cellars in 1992, to restaurants, retail and wholesale. Daniel co-founded Teira in 2002, and subsequently co-founded Free Flow Wines in 2009 – pioneering premium wine on tap across the US.
